Description
While tiny in geography, Rhode Island is a beautiful and bountiful state. There are hundreds of venues for getting fresh and locally grown foods. Farmers' markets, community-supported agriculture operations, farm stands, local grocers, and even delivery services are among the many ways Rhode Islanders can get from farm to table in a couple of hours.
Rhode Island DEM (RI DEM) Division of Agriculture partnered with us to create a series of “bite-sized" (under 30s) videos of local food, farmers, and consumers at farmers' markets to help promote the RI Grown brand.
Read on to see how our video series successfully drove awareness of the RI Grown brand and logo, encouraged people to shop at local farmer's markets, educated Rhode Islanders about the benefits of buying local, highlighted seasonal produce, and showcased local farmers.
