In 2016, Joe Gaska founded GRAX to offer organizations a better way to manage, and utilize, their backup data. To position GRAX as a leader in data management, provide air cover for sales, and build brand awareness for his company from the ground up, Gaska enlisted support from V2 Communications, it’s PR agency of record, in September 2020. Through multiple input and media training sessions with Gaska, V2 uncovered that GRAX’s unique corporate culture and perspective on the market would be the gold mine for media opportunities. As a result, V2 has secured more than 30 pieces of coverage across trade, local, business and tech press, namely two company profiles in local business outlets—The Boston Business Journal and BostInno—and inclusion in a front-page story in The Wall Street Journal. The agency also started GRAX’s social media presence and has grown each channel’s followers significantly.
